Happy looks good on me
Or so said Felicia when I sent her this little selfie from a recent walk.
Despite a few speedbumps, the last few months have been really positive ones. I have been good to my body. I have eaten better than ever in my life. I have listened to new music, read new books. My butt has barely been on the couch, except for family movie nights. Work is sizzling. A book draft is done; a book comes out in two weeks. I'm doodling a lot lately, and liking the work. I'm sleeping entire nights. I feel good in my skin, good in my heart. I'm showing up for me, for Felicia, for our family. I'm reading Stephen King to my 11-year-old. Etc.
This feels like happy. And it does look good on me!
